Characteristics |
Very dark, shiny green on the uppersides of the leaves, contrasting with the opaque, light, dull green on the velvety undersides. It grows horizontally more than vertically, making a large web of stems and spade-shaped leaves that you can get tangled in. Has a very pleasant, strong odor when you cut the leaves. Herbivory is common (unless the leaves are very new). |
