Characteristics

Similar to Piper cenocladum (they have transparent, gelatinous textured latex), but lacks the enclosed petioles. Stem not hollow. Coagulated latex of amber color. Ovate leaves. Like "Pink belly" only small shrub, and lacking pink underneath.
