The specimen shown bears the following label data: Ecuador; Napo; Hacienda San Isidro, 8 Dec 1996, 2000 m, sunny, log trail, ~ 2:30pm, leg. M. Lysinger. This locality is adjacent to Yanayacu. The type locality of E. cometaris Butler is Peru.
