Observations and comments

 Several more of these caterpillars were seen than were actually caught. They were extremely wary and any small vibration of the vine they were feeding on (including those caused by stepping on the vegetation beneath) would cause them to jump off of their host plant.
Another individual, which is probably a green morph of this caterpillar was caught on the same host plant (See Other Images).
