Rearing results and development times

As of July 2001, N=54: 23 Adults, 16 Parasitized, 15 Died (mostly as pupae, due to rearing conditions)
Days as a pupa (in lab) : 10-12 (N=5) and 20-40 (N=6)

Host plants

 Piperaceae: Piper auritum, Piper (Pothomorphe) peltata

Parasitoids

Braconidae (N=4), Nemata (N=3),
Tachinidae (N=6): Three were Lixophaga sp., emerging from the host larvae and pupating nearby in the larva's pupal chamber.
